Adam Mickiewicz Institute will commence operations

On May 1, 2024, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute will commence operations. This new state cultural institution was formed by merging the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the “Independence” Office (Order of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage dated April 16, 2024).
The mission of the new Adam Mickiewicz Institute is to promote Polish culture abroad and to initiate and develop international cooperation and cultural exchange in accordance with the principles of the foreign and cultural policy of the Republic of Poland.
